Charles Giles Four weeks ago last Tuesday this gentleman called o bid us good-bye just as he was on the eve of starting to Pike's Peak. Little did we think so few days remained to him on this earth. He was in good health, high spirits, and entertained firm hopes of a few months profitable labor in the newly discovered Eldorado. He embarked on board the Ohio No. 3, on the 20th of March, in the company with three others, and on Wednesday morning last a telegraphic dispatch was received by his brother Joseph Giles, living in Rutland, Meigs county, stating that Capt.
