P. Bradbury the candidate for the Supreme bench is personally, or by enviable reputation, well known to nearly all the readers of the Messenger. He is in life's prime, his age being fifty. He is a native of Gallia county but has for many years been a resident of Pomeroy, Meigs county, where he began legal practice in April, 1866. He was elected prosecuting attorney of Meigs county in 1869, and re-elected in 1871, serving two full terms. He was elected Common Pleas Judge for the Third subdivision of the Seventh Judicial District in 1875 for an unexpired term; was re elected in 1876 and again in 1881. He was election one of the Circuit Judges of the Fourth Circuit in 1884, and resigned the Common Pleas Judgship and entered upon the duties of Circuit Judge in February, 1885, and is still serving as Circuit Judge.
