DIED:   Chester, Meigs county, Ohio, Feb. 2, Mrs. Laura H. BESTOW, wife of Hon. 
John C.Bestow.
 
Mrs. B. was a native of Sharon, Litchfield county, Connecticut; was born Feb. 
23d, 1802; was married to Mr. Bestow February 7th, 1841. Their connection has 
been pleasant, mutually enjoying the full confidence of each other, and the 
society of friends and neighbors.  She was suddenly and unexpectedly called 
away.  She will be much missed, and lamented in the House of God, and by 
acquaintances, and in the domestic circle; but by none so keenly as by him, 
whose house is now the third time left desolate.  Mrs. B.united with the 
Presbyterian Church,in Chester, previous to her marriage, and has ever
since maintained an honorable membership.

Laura is buried in Chester Cemetery, Chester Twp., Meigs Co., Ohio in Row 13
