(Sand Hill Cemetery, Long Bottom, Meigs, Ohio) Additional Comments: Levi Swan Birth: May 9, 1779 Kent Litchfield County Connecticut, USA Death: Jan. 26, 1875 Meigs County Ohio, USA Levi Swan was born in 1779 in Connecticut. He arrived in Washington county between 1819, when his youngest son was born in New York, and 1823, when his wife Mary (Bradley) Swan died in Washington county. Their children were Nathan, Marvin, Henry, Levi Riley, Milo, and Lawrence. He moved to Meigs county later in life and lived near his son Marvin. He married Margaret Springer in 1823, Mrs. Ann Terrill in 1825, and Dorinda Greene in 1836. He is buried between his son Marvin and his grandson Marvin David.
