Boyles, 92, of Belpre, Ohio, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in Calhoun County, the daughter of the late Mallie and Florence Elliott Sturm. She was a member of Alfred United Methodist Church and attended Calvary Community Church where she had helped with children for many years. Surviving are two daughters, Florence Ann Spencer of Tuppers Plains, Ohio, and Sandra Massar of Reedsville, Ohio; one son, Phillip N. "Joe" Boyles of Parkersburg; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; twin brother and sister, Bernard Sturm of Powells Point, N.C., and Bernice Hawkey of Grantsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dinsmore Boyles, in 1975; two brothers, Otho Sturm and Holden Sturm; and two sisters, Azeline Hersman and Margarite Morgan. Services were held at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Rev. Ken Fullerton officiating. Burial was in Tuppers Plains Christian Church Cemetery.
