J.W. DUTTON
was born in Miami County, Ohio, November 3, 1833, annd was brought here by his 
parents while he was yet less than a year old.  He has been engaged here as  
farmer, merchant, and real estate dealer all his life.  In January, 1856, he 
married Elizabeth Chevington, who died soon after, and he married again January 
5, 1859, Sarah Grant.  THey have five children living, named Sophronia (Belle), 
Elizabeth, Wm. E., Thomas W., and Pearl Eola.
