MERCER COUNTY, Ohio MILITARY NOTICE Miami Republician Dayton, Ohio 7 Feb. 1826 MILITARY NOTICE. The officers and soldiers of the 2nd Brigade, 10th Div. Ohio militia, are informed that the county of mercer has been organized as a detached regiment, to be designated the 3rd Regiment in said Brigidate; and that William B. HEDGES has been elected Lt. Colonel, & Samuel LILLIE, major to command the same. John WILEY has been appointed Brigade Inspector, John DOUGLAS, Aid-de-camp & Isaac CLARY, Quarter Master of said Brigade. The commandants of the 2st, 2nd and 3rd Regiments, and the 1st Rifle Battalion of said Brigade, are requested to perfect their respective Rank Rolls, and forward the same to the commandant of the Brigade by the 1st day of April next.
