Solemn high mass was in charge of the following: Rev. Roman Schwieterman, C.PP.S, of Milwaukee, celebrant; Rev. Norbert Sweeterman, C.PP.S., of Dayton, deacon; Kenneth Forsthoefel, son of the deceased, and student at St. Charles seminary, sub deacon, and Rev. Louis H. Yauss, Coldwater pastor, master of ceremonies. Interment was made in St. Elizabeth Cemetery with military services in charge of Patriotism Post 470, American Legion of Coldwater, of which Forsthoefel was a member. He was also a member of the St. Joseph Men's Society and the Knights of Columbus, Coldwater council. A veteran of World War I, Forsthoefel participated in the Meuse- Argonne offensive. Member of the Coldwater Band attended in uniform. William Forsthoefel was born in Carthagena July 9, 1895, son of Mrs . Mary Forsthoefel and the late Frank F. Forsthoefel. Jan 11, 1920, at St. Sebastian, he married Cecilia Schwieterman, who survives. Other survivors include the following: two daughters, Mrs. Frank Muskus of Coldwater and Joan at home; six sons , Paul of Dayton, Kenneth at St. Charles seminary, Donald, Thomas, Herbert and James at home; one sister, Pauline of Coldwater; six brothers, Julius, Richard and Jerry of Coldwater, Fred of Cleveland and John of Milwaukee and five grandchildren.
