Amelia Forsthoefel

Amelia Ann Forsthoefel, 81, 320 E. North St., Coldwater, died at
12:45 a.m. Nov. 16, 2004, at her home.
  She was born March 18, 1923, in Coldwater, to John and Francis
Dressman Bruns. On June 27, 1946, she married Jerry Forsthoefel
who died Oct. 30, 1996.
  Surviving are two sons, John (Barbara) of Piqua and Frank (Robin)
of Cinncinnati; three daughters, Vicki, Margie (Sam) Hoops and
Nancy (Butch) Gillis, all of Coldwater, and three sisters-in-law, Mary,
Ann Bruns and Betty Bruns, both of Coldwater, and Rose Mary
Bruns, St. Marys; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
  Seven brothers and sisters are deceased.
  She had been part owner of the Busy Bee Grocery in
Coldwater and also worked at Romer's IGA in Burkettsville and
Harry Birt's Store in New Weston. She was a member of Holy Trinity
Catholic Church , St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality and the
American Legion Auxiliary, all of Coldwater.
  Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Thomas
Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery,
Coldwater.
  Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp
Funeral Home, Coldwater.
  Contributions can be made to Coldwater Unit 7 of Mercer County
Emergency Medical Services.
