A.B. Grothjan

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday for A.B. Grothjan, 80, of
Celina, in the Immaculate Conception church with burial in the church cemetary.
Grothjan died Friday morning.

Grothjan was completing his third term as mayor of Celina at the time of his
death. His term was to expire on January 1. He was sheriff of Mercer-co for two
terms and for many years was city treasurer. He was a member of the Immaculate
Conception Catholic church, the Holy Name Society and K. of C.

Surviving are two sons, Harold of New York and Dr. Cletus Grothjan of Toledo;
three daughters, Mrs. Eulalia Riley of Celina; Mrs. Wes Anthony and Mrs. Harry
Jutzie, both of Cincinnati.
