Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the St. Paul's Methodist Church, Celina, and burial was made to North Grove cemetery. The Rev. B. L. Orr conducted the services. The deceased was born in Center township, May 18, 1862. She was preceded in death by two children, Mrs. Lewis Hall and James Newton Miller. Those surviving to mourn her death are three daughters, Mrs. Lewis Colton, and Mrs. Oran Munroe of Celina; Mrs. Jay Folkerth of Dayton; two sons William K. Springer of Lansing, Mich.; Donald H. Springer of Sierra Madre, Calif.; two foster sons, Bryon Davis of Flint, Mich.; and Dwight W. Davis, principal of the Celina high school; and the following step-children: Mrs. Ben Adams, Celina; Mrs. John Wagner of Muncie; Manuel Springer of Fort Recovery and Chester Springer of Dayton, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. She was well known and respected by many people of Mercer county. Additional Comments: Married first to James Newton Miller, then to William Henry Springer, then to Nelson Maffett, who preceded her in death in 1940.
