CHARLESTON TWP Transcribed by Sandra Lake Lassen, February 1994 This Indenture made this twenty-Sixth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four by and between Moses Frazee Sen and Prissilla his wife of the County of Miami & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the Said Moses Frazee Sen and Prissilla his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of Twelve hundred dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge have given, granted bargained, Sold released and Conveyed and do by these presents give grant, bargain Sell, release, convey and Confirm unto the Said David Frazee and his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land Situate in the county and State aforesaid It being part of the North West quarter of Section Nine Town Two Range Eleven M.R.S., beginning at the South East Corner of Said quarter thence West 42 poles to a Stone thence North 70 80/100 poles to a Stone thence West 62 poles to a Stone in County Road thence N.5 degrees W.90 poles to a Stake in the North line of Said quarter thence East with the Said line 112 poles to the North East Corner of Said quarter thence South 160 poles to the place of beginning Containing 79.33/100 acres To Have and to Hold the premises aforesaid with all the privileges and appurtenences thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the Said David Frazee and unto his heirs and assigns forever and the Said Mose Frazee Sen and Prissilla his wife for themselves and for their heirs executors and administrators, Covenant and promise to and with the Said David Frazee his heirs and assigns that they the Said Moses Frazee Sen and prissilla his wife are lawfully Seized of the premises aforesaid that have good right and lawful authority to Sell and convey the Same in manner aforesaid and that the premises are free and clear of and from all incumbrances whatsoever and further that they the Said MosesFrazee Sen and Prissilla his wife will well and truely Warrant and forever defend the premises herein against the lawful claims and demands of all and every person whomsoever In testimony whereof the Said Moses Frazee Sen & Prissilla his wife party of the first part have hereunto Set their hands and Seales, the day and year first above Writen Signed Sealed and delivered Moses Frazee Sen [seal] In the presence of (his mark) Lewis D Frazee John H Wolcott The State of Ohio Miami County [seal] On the (blank) day of June A.D.1834 before me the Subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for Said county personally appeared the Said Moses Frazee Sen and Prissilla Frazee who Signed & Sealed the foregoing deed and acknowledged the Signing and Sealing thereof to be their act and deed for the purposes therein expressed and the Said Prissilla Frazee being by me examined Seperate and apart from her husband She did declare that She executed the above Deed freely and not from threats or constraint of her husband Given under my hand and Seal the date above writen John H Wolcott Justice of the Peace Entered the 21st November 1834 & recorded the 2nd December 1834 [Compiler: This same day Moses & Priscilla deeded land to son Lewis D.
