OHIO, DEED BK. 19, PAGES 192-3, 13 JUNE 1838 Transcribed by Sandra Lake Lassen, February 1994 This Indenture made this thirtieth of June 1838 between Lewis D. Frazee of Miami County and State of Ohio of the first part, and MosesFrazee Senr of the County and State aforesaid of the second part, witnesseth, that the party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the party of the second part, hath demised leased and to farm letten, and by this presents doth demise lease and to farm let unto the sd party of the second part, all that certain farm, piece or parcel of land, situate lying and being in the County of Miami and State of Ohio, it being a part of the north west quarter of section nine town two and range eleven M.R.S. (beginning) at the north west corner of said quarter, thence east with the north line of said quarter 48 poles to a stake, thence to the county road S.50 E.90 poles to a stone, thence East 62 poles to a stone, thence south 70 80/100 poles to a stone in the south line of said quarter, thence with the south line west 94.16 poles to stone in the beforementioned road; thence South 30 poles to a stone in the line between the said Frazees and Mitchels lands, thence west 66.00 poles to the west line of the South west quarter of said section, thence with said line 190 poles to the place of beginning, containing 93. 05/100 acres, together with all and singular the benefit liberties and privileges to the said premises belonging, to have and hold the said demised premises with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part for and during and untill the full end and term of the days and years of his natural life next ensuing the day of the date of these presents fully to be completed and ended. And lastly that it shall and may be lawful for the said Moses Frazee Junr peaceably and quietly to have and to hold occuppy possess and enjoy the said premises hereby leased with the appurtenances, during the said term of years hereby granted without any molestation whatsoever of or by him the said Lewis D.Frazee his heirs or assigns, or of or by an person or person lawfully or equitably claiming or to claim from or under him them or any of them. In witnes whereof the parties hereunto have set their hands and seals the day and year first above written. Sealed and delivered in the presents of L.D. Frazee and Rebecca Frazee his wife, the above named grantor, and signed sealed and acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be their voluntary act and deed for the uses theein expressed; and the wife being examined separate and apart from her husband and declared that she signed sealed and acknowledged the same of her own free will and accord, and that she is still satistified therewith.
