KISER ------------------------------------------------------- BK.21, PAGE 361, 29 January 1844, Miami Co., OH Transcribed verbatim by Sandra Lake Lassen, February 1994 Know all men by these presents that we Thomas J Yates and Nancy D Yates wife of the said Thomas J Yates of the County of Miami and State of Ohio in Consideration of the Sum of twenty Dollars in hand paid by Isam (?) Kiser of the County and State aforesaid Have bargaind and Sold and do by hereby grant Bargain Sell and Convey unto the Said Isam Kinser his heirs and asigns forever the following premises Situate in the County of Miami in the State of Ohio and in the Town of Fletcher and bounded and described as Follows to wit Lot numbered Three 13/ in the North Addition to Said Town of Fletcher. To Have and To Hold Said premises with the appurtenances unto the Said Isam Kiser his heirs and asigns forever and the said Thomas J. Yates for himself and heirs doth hereby Covemant with said Isam Kiser his heirs and asigns that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid and that the premisese are free and Clear from all incumbrances whatever and that he will forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances unto the Said Isam Kiser his heirs and asigns against the lawful Claims of all persons whomsoever In Testimony Whereof the Said Thomas J Yates and Nancy D. Yates [seal] John Winans The State of Ohio Miami County Before me John Winans a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally appeared the within named Thomas J. Yates and Nancy D. Yates his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within Conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed and the Said Nancy D. being at the same time examined by me separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said instrument made known to her by me she then declared that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the Same and that she is Still Satisfied therewith this 29th day of January 1844 Entered the 29th January 1844 Recorded the 2nd February 1844 John Winans J.P.
