The Piqua Democrat, Piqua, Ohio, Wednesday, August 1, 1866, Volume 3,
Number 1

The largest subscription to the stock of Hydraulic Co. that we have
heard of having been made was by Wm MEGRUE, Esq., President of the
Citizens National Bank of Piqua.  He takes $4,000, and is willing to do
better if necessary.

Mr. MEGRUE is one of our most liberal minded and enterprising citizens.
We wish we had a thousand more such.
