Adams, 72, of Fletcher, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2005, in his home. He was born May 4, 1932, in Paintville, Ky., the son of Harrison and Altie (Jackson) Adams. He married Carolyn S. Venrick on April 11, 1963, and she survives. Also surviving are five sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest F. Jr. and Alice Adams of Concord, Mich., Rodney and Angela Adams of Piqua, David and Beverly Adams of Osseo, Mich., Gregory Adams of Fletcher and Robbie and Paula Adams of Casstown; 15 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Richard and Nancy Adams of Troy, Raymond Adams of Troy, Carl and Bonnie Adams of Troy and Frank Adams of Alabama; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Laura and Avery Larck of Tipp City, Flora and Eugene Kraft of Florence, Ky., Cora and Herman Horner of Troy, and Florence and Dale Kennedy of Christiansburg. He also was preceded in death by three brothers, Harrison "Red," James and Bob Adams. Ernest was a retired machinist from LeRoi Dresser Industries in Sidney.
