Walnut St., Fletcher, was dead on arrival at Piqua Memorial Hospital Tuesday at 6:15 am. Born in Springcreek Twp., he was a son of Cleveland and Ora Hageman Covault. On Aug. 31, 1940 he was married to Deloras Walker. She survives Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Douglas Christian(sondray) of Troy;two granddaughters, Kelli and Beth Ann Christian;four sisters, Mrs. William Smith (dora) of Fort Morgan, Colo., Mrs Bill Parr(Joanna) of Groveport, Mars Richard Pearson(Emma) of Fletcher, Mrs Dale Friend(Mary) of Del Ray Beach,Fla;two brothers, Warren Covault of Del Ray Beach Fla and Marty Covault of Conneaut. Mr. Covault was a member of the Fletcher United Methodist Church, the Fletcher Fire Deportment, the Hobart Quarter Century Club, was an employee at Hobart corp and was the former president of Fletcher Village Council. Other memberships included past master of Lena Chapter 217 of Social Lodge, Piqua Chapter 31; Lafayette Council 93 Coleman Commandry 17, Fidelity Chapter 88 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton and was a Navy veteran of WWII Services will be conducted Friday at 2:00pm in the Suber Funeral Home, by the Rev. Robert Rutan the Rev Curtis Leigh.
