She was born Feb. 24, 1920, in Ansonia, the daughter of the late Everett and Mary McEowan. After graduating from Lena Conover High School, she married Andrew L. Jackson, and they made their home in Lena, where they raised four children. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Lena Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. In 1961 she and her husband moved to Piqua. After her husband's death in 1984, she moved to California where she met and married Howard Crust. She is survived by her children, Ruth Dulaney of Chula Vista, Calif., Andrew Jackson of Chula Vista, Calif., Russell of South Portland, Maine and Toby Jackson of Reno, Nev. She also is survived by a sister, Letha Maggert of Piqua. In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by her second husband Howard, and her brothers, John of Troy and Lester of Lena. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St. Fletcher, with Pastor Lendey Jackson presiding. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the services at 10:30 in the funeral home.
