Dorothy G. Davis, 84, of Piqua, formerly of St. Paris, passed away at 11:05 
a.m. Monday, March 26, 2007, at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home.
She was born April 30, 1922, in Champaign County, the daughter of the late 
Harry and Leota (Slusser) Walborn. She married Harold "Monk" Davis on Jan. 16, 
1949. He preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 1990.
Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Miriam Scott of St. Paris; one 
granddaughter, Jessica Scott of Wisconsin; a brother-in-law, Bernard T. Davis 
of Dayton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two 
sisters, Ruth Scott and Miriam Marie Walborn (infant); and several brothers 
and sisters-in-law.
Dorothy graduated from Lena Conover High School in 1940. She was a homemaker 
and a loyal member of the Lena Baptist Church where she participated in the 
Women's Missionary Society. She belonged to the St. Paris Home Demonstration 
Club and also was a 4-H adviser.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Lena Baptist 
Church, 8050 N. Church St., Lena, with the Rev. Philip Schumm of the Lena 
Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery.
