Eula Mae Donnelly, 84, of Conover, passed away at 11:20 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 
2003, in Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Champaign County, on March 
16, 1919, the daughter of the late Mahlon Hollace and Mary Ellen (Ceyler) 
Mitchell. She married John R. Donnelly on Dec. 1,1945, and they enjoyed 57 
years together. She is also survived by their two children and their spouses, 
Dennis and Ellen Donnelly of Conover and Kathy and Craig McMaken of Piqua; and 
her six grandchildren, Jim McMaken, Stacey McMaken and fiancZ Todd Voskuhl, 
and David McMaken, all of Piqua, and John H. Donnelly and Mark Donnelly of 
Conover, and Ann Donnelly of Ada. She is also survived by one brother, Garner 
Mitchell of Conover. She was preceded by her parents in death by her parents 
and two brothers, Norman and Roy Thomas Mitchell. Eula Mae graduated in 1936 
from Rosewood High School in Rosewood. She continued her education at the 
Ideal Business School in Piqua. The main focus of he life was a homemaker, 
wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Lena Baptist Church and 
a member of Fidelity Chapter No. 88 Order of the Eastern Star of Lena. Friends 
and family may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 in Suber Funeral Home from 5-
8 p.m. in Suber Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher. Funeral services will 
be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21 in the funeral home with Pastor 
Philip Schumm of the Lena Baptist Church presiding. Burial will be in the 
Fletcher Cemetery.
