Three children were born of this union, two sons and one daughter, the subject of this sketch. Jane A. Abbott was born January 29, 1841, at Troy, Ohio. She was united in marriage to one Dr. M.L. Harter, December 24, 1857, at Troy, Ohio. Two children were born of this union, Mrs. Bullock of Oakland, Cal., and Mary Jewett Harter-Nilssen [sic]. Dr. Harter died November 1, 1872, at St. Louis, Mo. On the 12th day of October, 1875, the deceased was married to Rev. S.R. Dimock, who died April the 19th, 1898. Mrs. Dimock leaves two children, ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Jane A. Dimock departed this life on Thursday morning, November 5, 1914. Memorial services were held from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Nilssen [sic], South Omaha, on Sabbath afternoon, November 8th, with burial at Denver, Colo. Mrs. Dimock was a woman possessed of the former generations, whose adornment was a meek and lovable spirit, with honest devotion to Jesus Christ, and an ever active spirit of willing service, without guile. Bright intellectually, she kept informed in all the world-movements of the church, and to the last moments of her earthly life was alert, active, kind and faithful. She rests well after life's little day and all that knew her loved her, and her children rise up and call her "blessed." Blessed are the Peace-makers, for they shall be called the children of God.
