Ralph E. Edwards, 73, of Sidney, passed away in his residence Friday, Oct. 16, 
2009. He was born in Shelby County on Nov. 3, 1935, a son of the late Theodore 
and Alma (Clevenger) Edwards.
He married Nancy Snider on April 25, 1959, and she preceded him in death on 
Jan. 13, 2005.
Ralph is survived by three children and their spouses, Beverly and Arnold 
Rose, Loretta and Monte Burton, and Timothy and Cheryl Edwards, all of Sidney; 
nine grandchildren; and two great -grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Ralph was preceded by a son, Ralph Jr.; 
infant twins; and a granddaughter, Melissa Rose.
Ralph was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, St. Paris. He served in 
the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard. He was a 1953 graduate of Fairlawn 
High School. Ralph was a lifelong farmer.
Funeral services with the Rev. Don Brown of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church 
officiating. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery
