SIDNEY - Joan M. Eisner, 79, of Troy, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 
27, 2011, in Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney.
Born on Feb. 21, 1931, near Sidney, Joan was a daughter of the late Fred and 
Audrey (Hague) Andrews. She married William J. Eisner on July 8, 1951, and he 
preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1990.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Jim Hartzel! of Troy; 
two grandchildren, Joe Hartzell of Piqua and Julianne Hartzell of Chicago, 
III.; a sister, Wilma (Jerry) Smith of Minster, a brother-in-law, Bob Schloss 
of Sidney; and two sisters-in-law, Virginia Andrews and Imogene Andrews of 
Sidney.
In addition to her parents and husband, a son, Joe Eisner, five brothers and 
three sisters, preceded Joan. Joan was a 1949 graduate of Green Township High 
School. She retired from First National Bank in Troy.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Suber-Shively Funeral 
Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery.
