Ronald D. Emrick, 24, of 123 Linden Ave., Piqua, went to be with the Lord at 
6:09 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, surrounded by his family at the home of his 
father and mother-in-law, following a seven-month battle with leukemia.
He was born July 26,1983, in Piqua. He married Mackenzie A. Bell on June 10, 
2006 in Piqua; and she survives.
Other survivors include a seven-month-old son, Jacob Dale Emrick, at home; 
mother, Tammy (Jacobs) Snapp of Piqua; father, William Soliday of Piqua; 
mother and father-in-law, Heather and Michael Bell of Piqua; grandparents, 
Betty Whitacre, Donald Motter, Max and Evelyn Coate, all of Piqua; brother, 
Larry (Nicole) Emrick of Columbus; sister, Brittany Soliday of Piqua; and a 
brother-in-law, Eric Bell of Las Vegas, Nev.
Ron attended the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School, graduated from Piqua 
High School in 2001, and worked in the Body Shop for Dan Hemm Auto Mall. He 
was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church and enjoyed fishing 
and restoring automobiles.
His funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul's 
Evangelical and Reformed Church with the Rev. Frank J. Sapp, Sr. officiating. 
Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery.
