She was born on April 10, 1912, in Shelby County, the daughter of the late Frank and Cora (Weissinger) Maxson. She married Kenneth Everett on Feb. 16, 1933, and he preceded her in death on April 4, 1991. Marveline spent part of her life living in Shelby County and part of her life in Miami County. She attended school in Shelby County, and was a member of the Shelby County Homemakers Club for 50 years. She was also a 4-H adviser in Shelby County for a sewing club. Marveline was a member of the Fletcher United Methodist Church and the Lena Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and loved to quilt. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Junior and Mary Everett of Fletcher; eight grandchildren and their spouses: Mark and Julie Everett of Fletcher, Dick Everett of Fletcher, Julie and Jim Morris of Arlington, Texas, Annette Silvers of Fletcher, Curtis and Jennifer Everett of Fletcher, Kenneth M. and Alice Everett of Piqua, Thomas and Christa Everett of Piqua, and Jennifer and Jim Marchal of Jacksonville, Ark.; and 20 great¬grandchildren. Marveline also is survived by a daughter-in-law, Linda Everett and her husband, Larry Favorite of Fletcher; brothers, Myron (Jean) Maxson of Sidney and Silas Maxson of St. Paris; and sisters, Mabel Reed of Springfield, Pearl Baker of St. Paris and Phyllis (Bob) Wiltheiss of Piqua; and three sisters-in- law, Janet Maxson of Conover, Betty Maxson of Conover and Margaret Maxson of Piqua; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Marveline was preceded in death by a son, Richard Everett; four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Fletcher, with the Rev. Marilyn Hardman presiding. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery.
