WOODSTOCK, Ontario, Canada - James B. Felver, 70, formerly of Piqua, more 
recently of Woodstock, Ontario, Canada died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at his 
home.
He was born Feb. 10, 1940, on the family farm just north of Piqua in Miami 
County to the late Burley J. and Sylvia A. (Meyer) Felver. He married Gladys 
May Figg on Sept. 23, 1970, in Covington; she preceded him in death Feb. 6, 
1997.
Survivors include a brother, Walter (Phyllis) Felver of Piqua; and 1 1 nieces 
and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Felver and Don 
Felver; and two sisters, Betty Lacy and Doris Clark.
Mr. Felver was a 1958 graduate of Piqua Central High School and began working 
for Hobart Brothers in Troy and later transferred to Woodstock, Ontario, where 
he retired following more than 20 years of employment. He loved antiques, all 
kinds of music and was great on the piano even though he didn't read much 
music. He enjoyed genealogy, having traced his family ancestors back several 
centuries.
A funeral service to honor his life will begin at 1 1 a.m. Saturday at the 
Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with the Rev. Lincoln L. Robinson 
officiating. Private burial will follow at Fletcher Cemetery
