Urbana Daily Citizen 
Thomas Merle 'Tommy" Frost, 58, of Urbana, passed away at 8:20 AM Monday, 
March 14, 2011was born April 19, 1952 in Springfield, the son of Fred Allen 
and Audrey Ellen (Potter) Frost Sr. Tommy loved to watch ball games, listen to 
music, shop, fish and wrestle. He never knew a stranger and will always be 
remembered for his wonderful smile. He warmed the hearts of everyone whom he 
met. Tommy had been employed at TAG Industries and at Lawnview in Urbana. 
Survivors include his loving and devoted sister and her husband (Tommy's best 
buddy) Martha and Wayne Adams, with whom he resided in Urbana, three brothers; 
George Frost, Roger (Shelia) Frost and Terry (LaDonna) Frost all of 
Springfield and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his 
parents, sisters; Linda Frost, Carol Arnold and Sharon Brannon and his brother 
Fred Frost Jr. Visitation will be held form 5:OOPm until 8:OOPm Thursday in 
the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 2:OOPm 
Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Stumbo officiating. Burial will 
follow in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery. Tommy's family would like to give special 
thanks to the following for all of their compassionate care and love over the 
years; his special doctors; Dr. Richard Gordon, Dr. Ahern, Dr. Andom, Dr. 
Gabbard, Dr. Ranginwala and Dr. Carroll, his nurse; Annie Hayslip, and all the 
nurses and staff at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Urbana, Springfield Regional 
Medical Center and at his "second home" Vancrest Nursing Home in Urbana.
