Mr. Frank Folckemer, a well known resident of Covington, was found dead in his bed this morning, at his home on Pearl street, in Covington. The discovery of his death was made by Mrs. Amanda Dixon, his sister-in-law, with whom he had made his home since the death of his wife. Mr. Folckemer had heen yesterday in his normal slate of health. He had been in poor heallh all winter but had been able to be about. Yesterday he had been about town and seemed to he in his accustomed health and spirits, Nothing unusual was observed by Mrs. Nixon, up to the time e retired last night. It was customary for Mr. Folckemer to arise about 7 o'clock' a.m. This morning when he did not come from his room, Mrs. Nixon went in to call him. She observed he looked very while and pale and hastily called Dr. Brubaker, who found that Mr. Folckemer had heen dead but a few minutes. Heart failure due lo old age was given as the cause of death. Mr. Folckemer was aged 83 years. For more than 50 years he has lived in Covington. He was a quiet, unassuming man, a bookkeeper by profession. His wife died two years ago. He is survived by a brother. Mr. Henry Folckemer, of Camp Point, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Susan Blair, who lives in Pennsylvania. The Messrs. J. W. Ruhl and A. M. Ruhl, of Covington, are cousins. No plans for the funeral have heen made.
