GUSTIN DIES IN DAYTON Wife of Former Fletcher Resident Is Victim of Heart Condition on Friday. Word was received Friday night by Orville Gustin of the death of his daughter- in law, Mrs. Suzanna Smith Gustin, 36, wife of Dr. George Gustin, former resident of this community, at the Gustin home on North Main street, Dayton at 4 p. m. Friday. Death was attributed to a heart condition, following two weeks illness. News of the younger Mrs. Gustin was phoned to Orville Gustin by his wife who has been in her son's home, caring for the daughter in-law. Dr. and Mrs. Gustin have visited here many times and are both well-known to residents of this village. She was born in Osborn in 1904 and 13 years ago was united in marriage to George Gustin. After three years in Chicago where her husband completed his study of medicine, the Gustin’s moved to Dayton where they have resided since. She was a member of the Sulpher Grove United Brethren church. Survivors include her husband, George, her mother, Mrs. Gertrude Smith, three sisters, Mrs. Esther Pinder, Miss Pearl and Mary Kathryn Smith, all of Dayton and a brother, Claire Smith of Eaton. Rites will be conducted at 2 p. m. Monday at 110 Redwood avenue, Dayton with burial in Fletcher cemetery. Friends may call at the Gustin home, N. Main street Dayton until 11 a. m.
