Maud Hall, 98, of Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney and formerly of 
Conover passed away at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2003. She was born on Jan. 24, 
1905, the daughter of the late Elden and Lottie (Maggert) Reed. On Jan. 24, 
1924, she married Frank Hall, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 3,1988. She 
is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Alan Deaton of Conover; six 
grandchildren, Charles (Alta) Marrs of Piqua, Bonnie (Richard) Sturgill of 
Piqua, Richard (Joyce) Marrs of St. Paris, Debra (John) Hanner of Beavercreek, 
Wayne (Patty) Deaton of Piqua and Donald (Julie) Deaton of Piqua; 13 great-
grandchildren and six great-great¬grandchildren. Maud is also survived by a 
sister-in-law, Mable Reed; son-in-law, Leo Marrs; and two nieces and nephews. 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a 
daughter, Evelyn Marrs and a brother, Harold Reed. She was a member of Lena 
Baptist Church, the Miami County Farm Bureau Council and the Home Arts Club. 
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, in Suber-Shively Funeral 
Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in 
the funeral home on Monday with Reverend Phil Schumm presiding. Burial will be 
in Fletcher Cemetery
