John S. Hill, 67, of Piqua passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, in the 
Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born in Piqua on Dec. 29, 1935, the 
son of J. Richard and Dorothy (Jones) Hill. John was a 1953 graduate of Sidney 
High School and a 1957 graduate of Otterbein College. He is survived by his 
mother, Dorothy P. Hill of Piqua; a sister and brother-in-law; Pat and Thomas 
P. South of Piqua; two brothers and sisters in law; Douglas R. and Earlene 
Hill of Suttons Bay, Mich., and David W. and Ruth Hill of Birmingham, Ala.; 
and several nieces and nephews. John also is survived by his special friends 
and caregivers Larry and Muffit Wale of Piqua. John was preceded in death by 
his father, J. Richard Hill. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 
funeral service on Sunday, Nov, 16, beginning at 1 p.m. in the Suber-Shively 
Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher. Funeral services will be held at 2 
p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Leland Brehm and the Rev. Marilyn 
Hardman of the Fletcher United Methodist Church presiding. Burial will be in 
Fletcher Cemetery
