Hole, 86, of 1840 W. High St., Piqua, died at 1:55 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007, in the Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 29, 1921, in Rosewood, to the late John and Nora Ellen Covault Purk. She married Jack D. Hole on July 31, 1939, in Covington, Ky., and he survives. She was preceded in death by two infant twin daughters, three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include a brother, Richard and Darlene Purk of Sebring Fla.; a sister, Ruth Bryan of Piqua; and several nieces and nephews. Vivian was a member of the Montezuma Church of Christ and Eastern Star Chapter 320 of Piqua. She was a 1939 graduate of Piqua Central High School and attended Edison Community College. She retired in 1988 as Riverside Adult Services Director at Riverside of Miami County and was a member of the Association for Retarded Citizens of Miami County. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, Piqua, with the Rev. Kevin Newman officiating. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery.
