Hole, 91, of Piqua, died at 5:20 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, at Piqua Manor Nursing Home. He was born Oct. 31,1918, in Piqua to the late Hiram and Ethel (Snyder) Hole. He married Vivian M. Purk July 31, 1939 in Covington, Ky.; she preceded him in death on May 10, 2007. Survivors include two sisters, Martha Wolfe of Fort Loramie and Carlene (Darrell) Kiehl of Piqua; a brother, William Hole of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by infant twin daughters; and three brothers, Hubert, Charles, and Donald Hole. Mr. Hole attended Piqua City Schools and retired from the French Oil Mill Machinery Company. He was a member of the Montezuma Church of Christ, Warren Masonic Lodge 24, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Valley Of Dayton, Lafayette Council 23, Order of the Eastern Star Pleiades Chapter 298, and was a life member of the Association for Retarded Citizens of Miami County. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Neumann officiating.
