Helen M. Howe, 81, of 512 Crescent Drive Troy, died at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 
13, 2004, in Harborside Health Care. She was born in St. Paris on Oct. 5, 
1922, to the late Abie and Delia Everingham Pence. She married Herbert A. Howe 
on July 26, 1939; he preceded her in death on July 24, 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy L Thompson of Piqua; a son and daughter-in-
law, Herbert A. "Bud" Jr. and Barbara Ann Howe of St. Marys; five 
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. 
She was preceded in death by one sister.
Mrs. Howe was a homemaker and attended the Piqua Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, in the 
Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Toon officiating. Burial 
will follow in Fletcher Cemetery
