Jean Hutson, 75, of Fletcher, passed away at 3:10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, 
in Kettering Hospital.
She was born May 2, 1933, in Fairmont, W. Va., a daughter of the late Chester 
B. and Vema (Cooper) Edgell. She married Ted R. Hutson Jr. on March 23, 1951, 
and he survives.
She also is survived by her children and their spouses, Deborah Millhouse of 
Fletcher, Robin (Darryl) VanHook of Sidney, Vicki (Rick) Hartzell of Fletcher, 
Ted (Tana) Hutson of Sidney, and Todd (Cindy) Hutson of Troy. She was a loving 
grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She also is 
survived by a brother, Bill Edgell of Piqua; sisters, Esther Wertz of
Piqua and Elizabeth Edgell of Fletcher; stepbrothers Ronnie, Jerry, Danny, 
Charlie and Greg Davis; stepsisters
Georgena, Diane and Katie, all of Piqua; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepsister, Judy.
Jean was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Piqua. She was formerly 
employed by Evenflo and Aerovent of Piqua.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Suber-Shively Funeral 
Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, with the Rev. Michael Kirk of Pleasant View 
Baptist Church of Dryridge, Ky., presiding. Burial will follow in Fletcher 
Cemetery.
