Libbee, 71, of 908 Kent Lane, Troy, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, at 3:20 p.m. in Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Piqua to the late Lee H. and Mary Russell Libbee. He married Sharon L. (Small) Peters Feb. 21, 1989, in Troy, and she survives. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Chris W. and Susan Libbee of Piqua; daughters and son-in-law, Cindy J. and Tom Fry of Piqua and Maralee L. and Steven Paulus Jr. of Piqua; a step-son, Christopher Peters of Littleton, Colo.; a step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Ingrid and Gary Howard of Morrison, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Justin T. Fry, Lindsey D. Fry, Mindy J. Libbee, Christin N. Libbee, Nathin W. Libbee; Steven Paulus III, and Candace Paulus; one great-grandson, Brandon L. Libbee; three sisters and brother-in-law, Anita L. McCrary, Sally J. and Charles P. Moser and Judith A. Libbee, all of Piqua; and his previous wife, Evelyn M. (Mickey) Helke of Houston. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William W. Libbee. Mr. Libbee retired in January 2003 from the Upper Valley Vocational School as an automobile tech instructor and following retirement he was a school bus driver. He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He served as past master of the Warren Masonic Lodge 24, as District Deputy Grand High Priest of the Third Masonic District of Ohio, was a member of the Piqua Chapter 31 and Lafayette Council 93, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, AMD and Tall Cedars, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1067 and the Order of the Eastern Star of Bradford. He was the head of the Troy Police Department Auxiliary. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home in Piqua with Pastor Donald R. Wells officiating.
