Lillian Cora Mason, 87, of Troy, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 
2007, in Harborside Healthcare, Troy.
She was born Oct. 2, 1919, in Piqua, the daughter of the late Wade T. and Cora 
B. (Agne) Jay. She married Harold E. Mason on March 13, 1946, and he preceded 
her in death on Nov. 5, 1997.
She and her husband raised three children, Linda (Douglas) Stowe of Troy, 
Brenda Fogt of Troy and Eugene (Michelle) Mason of Casstown. She was a loving 
grandmother to five grandchildren, Heather (Eric) Gates of Centerville, Mark 
Stowe of Troy, Amy Jo Fogt of Troy, Nicole Mason and Matthew Mason of 
Casstown; and one great-grandchild, Brooke Ryman of Troy. Also surviving are a 
sister, Fidelia Deeter of Bradford; a brother, Raymond Jay of Piqua; and a 
sister-in-law, Vema Jay of Piqua.
In addition to her parents and husband, two brothers and two sisters preceded 
her in death.
Lillian belonged to the Congregational Christian Church in Piqua where she 
sang in the choir, and she retired from the Miami County Courthouse. She was a 
1937 graduate of Piqua High School.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Suber-Shively Funeral 
Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, with the Rev. Bill Hewitt presiding. Burial 
will be in Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher.
