Motter, 75, of 9477 Country Club Road, Piqua, died at 8:15 p.m. Dec. 2, 2005, in her residence. She was born in Covington June 25, 1930, to the late James Clinton and Clyona Brucker Baker. She married Donald M. Motter Feb. 11, 1953, in Covington; and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Bill Oakes and Heather and Michael Bell, all of Piqua; two sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin and Lori Motter of Piqua and Kirk and Carol Motter of Ft. Loramie; eight grandchildren, Eric Bell, Mackenzie Bell and her fiance Ron Emerick, Kelsey Motter and her fiance Nathan Smith, Levi Motter, Holly Vincent and her husband Joe, Jennifer Motter, Heather Motter, and Kelly Motter; two great- grandchildren, Dylan Motter and Haley Vincent; a sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Michael Root of Piqua; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Sonja Baker and Greg and Linda Baker, all of Piqua and Roger and Kathy Baker of Covington. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Baker and a sister, Suzanne Dorsey. Mrs. Motter was a 1950 graduate of Piqua Central High School and retired in 1993 from the former Hammer Graphics Company of Piqua. She was an active member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, its disciple class and Bible study group, the Order of the Eastern Star Chapters in Piqua and Sidney, the Cancer Support Group, a volunteer at Upper Valley Medical Center and enjoyed knitting and genealogy research. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church with the Rev. Frank J. Sapp Sr. officiating.
