Mary K. Plunkett, 88, of Piqua and formerly of Fletcher, passed away at 8:10 
a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2006, in Piqua Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 18,1917, in Mercer County, the daughter of the late Oraand 
Laurie R. (Loades) Dock. She married Robert Plunkett on Dec. 5, 1936, and he 
preceded her in death on May 13, 2001.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Fred and Pauline 
Plunkett and Jerry and Sylvia Plunkett, all of Piqua and James Plunkett of 
Chesapeake, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-
great¬grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Edna Dock of 
St. Paul, Minn.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three 
brothers, Jack, Dale and Rex Dock.
Mary Katheryn attended Union Baptist Church and was a former member of the 
Ladies Auxiliary of Dettmer Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Suber-Shively Funeral 
Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, with the Rev. Marilyn Hardman presiding. 
Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher
