Dorothy Lucille Ralston, 93 of Tipp City and formerly of Piqua passed away at 
9:25 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003 in Spring Meade Health Center in Tipp City. She 
was born June 24, 1910 in Miami County, the daughter of the late Harry C. and 
Nannie B. (Barnett) Mart. She married David Ralston on Feb. 6,1936 and he 
preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1988. Dorothy is survived by four children, 
Mrs. Darlene Boyette of Warner Robbins, Ga., Melvin (Judy) Ralston of Dayton, 
Mrs. Hershel (Sheryl) Griffith of Piqua, and Gary (Sandy) Ralston of 
Hillsboro. She also is survived by 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren 
and five great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In 
addition to her parents and her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a 
granddaughter, Vicki Havenar; three sisters, three brothers, and a son-in-law, 
Bryant Boyette. Dorothy was a 1929 graduate of Staunton High School. She was a 
homemaker, a member of Troy Nazarene Church and also attended the First Church 
of God in Piqua. Friends and family may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, 
Oct. 7 in Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Fletcher. Funeral 
services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Ron Barber 
of the Troy Nazarene Church presiding. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery
