Reeder, 95, of Piqua passed away at 10:20 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2006. She was born May 30, 1910, in Erastas, the daughter of Clifford D. and Leona (Schmidt) McQueen. She married Maynard C. Reeder on Oct. 16, 1930, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1973. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Neil Reeder of Chardon, Carl and Arizona Reeder and Max and Charlene Reeder, all of Piqua; six grandsons; two granddaughters; two step-granddaughters; 24 great- grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and one cousin, Dorothy Buckloh of Wabash. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters. Bea was a member of the Greene Street United Methodist Church, a Piqua High School graduate and a former librarian at the Piqua Public Library. She was a member of the Clan Donald U.S.A., Mercer County Historical Society, Miami County Farm Bureau, Miami County Jersey Cattle Club, Upper Valley Fiber Guild, Brukner Nature Center, Ohio State Extension Club, Sheepskin Community Club, Piqua Leisure Club and the Piqua YWCA. She also was a demonstrator at the Piqua Heritage Festival for more than 10 years. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, with the Rev. David Ramming of the Bethel United Methodist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery.
