Pauline E. Reid, 91, off Kettering, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 
2006, at Heartland of Piqua.
She was born May 11, 1914, in Hayden, the daughter of the late William J. and 
Lyda (Latham) Neumeier. She married George R. Reid on Nov. 24, 1935, and he 
preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 2005.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Paul Beck of 
Fletcher; three grandchildren, Paula (Chris) Schmiesing of Piqua, Karl Beck of 
Troy and Dr. Mary Beck of Chicago; three great-grandchildren, Jack, Ben and 
Sam Schmiesing of Piqua; a sister and brother-in-law, Sue and James Casteele 
of Troy; a sister-in-law, Josephine Motter of Troy; five nephews; and two 
nieces. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death 
by one sister and one brother.
Pauline was a 1932 graduate of Lena-Conover High School and attended The Ohio 
State University in Columbus. She was a homemaker and enjoyed history, 
antiques, quilting and crocheting.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Suber-Shively Funeral 
Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, with the Rev. James Christy of the Greene 
Street United Methodist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Fletcher 
Cemetery.
