Robert "Bob" Robbins, 73, of Piqua, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, June 
23, 2008, at his residence.
He was born April 29, 1935, in West Liberty, Ky., to the late Roscoe and 
Elizabeth (Roland) Robbins. On July 10, 1953, he married Lois Smith in West 
Liberty, Ky. She survives.
Bob also is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Terri Robbins of 
Piqua; two  daughters and son-in-law, Karin and Bill Brown and Robyn Kidder, 
all of Piqua; five j grandchildren, Gabe and Austin Swallow, Brittany Robbins, 
Jacob Robbins and Colten Kidder, all of Piqua; and three great -grandchildren, 
Caitlin Swallow of Troy and Mason Swallow and Lilliana Willcox, both of Piqua.
He was preceded in death by five sisters, three brothers and one grandson, 
Joshua Robbins.
Bob was a member of Piqua Apostolic Church, Piqua. He was a loving husband, a 
wonderful father and a proud grandfather. His family was his pride and joy. 
Bob retired from Dinner Bell Foods in Troy in 1990. He also worked as a 
carpenter off and on all his life. Bob loved working with his hands and 
building things.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Piqua Apostolic Temple, 
830 Covington Ave., with Pastor Dan Hathaway officiating. Burial will follow 
in Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher.
