Ruth M. Russell, 72, of Troy, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2006, 
in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
She was born April 29, 1934, in Piqua, the daughter of the late Gary Franklin 
Adam and Florence Margaret (Motter) Leiberick. She married Jack C. Russell on 
May 7, 1952, and he preceded her in death Nov, 30, 1995.
She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Russell and Jackie Dershem of Troy; 
four grandchildren, Jack and Jody Snyder and Joshua and Maggie Dershem, all of 
Troy; two sisters, Jeannette Russell and Naomi Maher of Piqua; many nieces and 
nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a 
granddaughter, Nicki Snyder; four brothers, Walter Cook, Carl Cook, John 
Leiberick, and Richard Cook; and one sister, Betty Dyson.
Ruth formerly attended God's Tabernacle in Bradford. She attended Piqua High 
School and worked for Rinks in Troy and retired from Woolworth's in Piqua.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Suber-Shively 
Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Fletcher. Burial will be in Fletcher 
Cemetery, Fletcher
