Wanda Mae Shoe, 81, of Fletcher, passed away at 9:05 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 
2004, in Heartland of Piqua Nursing Home. She was born in Piqua on April 9, 
1922, the daughter of the late Lester and Hazel (Grunet) Roegner. On March 16, 
1952 she married Theodore W. Shoe and he preceded her in death on March 31, 
2003.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Cathy Shoe of 
Fletcher; and two grandchildren, Adam and Christine Shoe, also of Fletcher. In 
addition to her parents and husband, Wanda was preceded in death by three 
brothers.
Wanda was a secretary for Hobart Corp. in Troy. She loved horses, gardening 
and reading western novels.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, in 
Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher. Funeral services will 
be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the funeral home with the Rev. Bonita 
Wood of the Fletcher United Methodist Church presiding. Burial will be in 
Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher
