Betsy L. Silvers, 57, of 13447 Southland Road, Botkins, passed away at 7:22 
p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010, at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
She was born Aug., 22, 1952, in Barbourville, Ky., the daughter of the late 
Lester and Delia (Baker) Hubbard. On July 5, 2003 she was married to Michael 
Silvers, her companion of 14 years.
Betsy is survived by two daughters, Mackenzie Holly of Piqua and Raquel 
Silvers-Connel of Columbus. She also is survived by seven sisters and 
brothers, Paris (Clyde) Carter of Piqua, Roberta (Roger) Calvert of Piqua, 
Lois (J.R.) Hinkle of Piqua, Faye (Neal) Hubbard of Sidney, Rick (Karen) 
Hubbard of Piqua, Mary (Mark) Black of Piqua and Doug Hubbard of Piqua; and 
stepmother, Pam Ellis.
Mrs. Silvers was employed by Kroger in Sidney for four years, and worked in 
the deli as well as the bakery.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. 
Main Ave., Sidney, with Gary Wagner and Gene Park officiating. Burial will be 
at Fletcher Cemetery in Fletcher.
