Chad Turner, 93, of 610 First St., Piqua, died at 2:50 p.m. Monday, June 14, 
2010, at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Sept. 3, 1916, in Harlan, Ky., to the late William H. and Susan 
(Smith) Turner. He married Agnes Collins on Jan. 6,1938, in Putney, Ky; she 
preceded him in death on Oct. 26, 1990.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn (Robert) Rapp of Zolfo Springs, Fla. 
and Wanda (Ronnie) Pack of Piqua; five grandchildren, William D. Rapp, Debbie 
Cover, Korena Weber, Donald Rapp, and Katherine Silvers-Huber; eight great-
grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a great-grandson; three brothers; and seven 
sisters.
Mr. Turner attended schools in Kentucky and retired from the shipping 
department of the former Miami Industries in Piqua. After his retirement, he 
worked part-time at the former Piqua East Mall. He enjoyed eating out at 
restaurants and traveling.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Jamieson & 
Yannucci Funeral Home with the Rev. Willard Cole officiating. Burial will 
follow in Fletcher Cemetery
