Betty H. Westfall, 83, of Fletcher, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, 
2006, at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community.
She was born April 2, 1923, in Piqua, the daughter of the late Andrew and 
Dorothy (Darr) Ponchilla. She married Thomas C. Westfall on July 14,1945, and 
he survives in Fletcher.
She also is survived by two children and their spouses, Thomas O. and Gloria 
Westfall of Troy and Tanya and David Couser of Fletcher; and three 
grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers. Betty 
was a 1943 graduate of Brown High School.
She formerly delivered papers for the Piqua Daily Call and worked in the 
cafeteria at Miami East Elementary School, Fletcher.
Memorial services will be at the convenience of the family. Suber-Shively 
Funeral Home, Fletcher, is serving the family.
