ACT OF MAY 11, 1912 Amended By Act, March 4, 1913,  
No. 546,601 Reissue and Increase

UNITED STATES of AMERICA Department of the Interior BUREAU OF PENSIONS:

It is hereby certified That in conformity with the laws of the United States  
BARNETT PENNELL who was a Private and Corporal, 15" Independent Battery Ohio  
Light Artillery is entitled to a pension at the rate of Twenty-five dollars per  
month from May 31, 1912 and Thirty dollars per month from September 20, 1916.

Given at the Department of the Interior this first day of August one thousand  
nine hundred and sixteen and of the Independence of the United States of America  
the one hundred and forty-first.

Columbus, O., January 11th, 1935.
Know Ye That the records of this office show that Barnett Pennell was enrolled  
as a Private in Company Independent 15th Regiment, Ohio Vol. Lt. Art. on the 9th  
day of January 1862 at _____(blank)___ by _____(blank)______ and was mustered  
into the United States service as such for the period of three years on the 1st   
day of February 1862 at Camp Dennison, Ohio., by Captain A.B. DOD  U.S.A.  
Mustering Officer, and that he Appointed Corporal; was mustered out December  
18th, 1864, on expiration of term of service.
