None in the 107th. Two served for Ohio and one for PA. Diana, does your friend know anything else about her great grandfather? Was Caleb his first name? Did he survive the war?Does she have a company designation that he was in? Could he possibly have been on The Sultana? The only regiment that I know of for Portage County was the 115th OVI., formed from Portage, Stark and Columbiana Counties. The three men below are the three Calebs that came up in the search: Soldier History Caleb Ely: Residence not listed; 23 years old. Enlisted on 10/15/61 as a Private.
